I've just finished listening to the audio book of Cory Doctorow's Information Doesn't Want to Be Free. It's a fascinating read and I'd recommend it to anyone interested in copyright.
Admittedly some bits are a little repetitive but it really hammers home how broken the current copyright system is and how much damage archaic copyright laws are doing to the internet.
At the same time Electronic Frontiers Australia, a number of Australian Wikipedians and the Australian Digital Alliance have released a new website faircopyright.org.au which is campaigning for more sensible copyright laws in Australia.
I personally would be willing to buy a copy of Information Doesn't Want to Be Free for any Australian MP who is willing to listen to or read it and I'm planing on sending an email to my local MP to that effect.
